Bloombot
Office hours that never close.
About
Bloombot is an AI course assistant that lives where students already are — the course Discord chat server. It answers student questions around the clock, whether or not the instructor is available, and it takes over the administrative scaffolding of running a course server.
Each course is wired to its own assistant, with its own course notes and instructions, so answers come from the material that course actually teaches rather than from the internet at large.

What it does
-
Answers students, any hour. Students ask in their Discord channel and a course-specific AI assistant replies in the same channel, with per-student daily limits.
-
Builds the course server. Categories, channels, roles, permissions, and a private channel for every student, generated from the class roster instead of assembled by hand.
-
Shows what students struggle with. Every conversation is logged and analyzed — message volume, engagement, and automatic topic classification — so instructors can see which parts of a course generate the most questions.
